DEC 27 - Movie-Gurus, the film web site edited by HCA, now offers an RSS feed. We've added the RSS feed to show off the latest film reviews. Also, Harrison scores as semi-finalist in the Writers' Guild Fiction competition, placing in the top 189 competitors out of 2100+ entries this year.

SEPT 10 - STERLING AUDIO VIDEO, high end home theater designers to the stars, has commissioned HCA to produce their web site.

RICHARD MAX to star in new AVRIL LAVIGNE VIDEO
AUG 2 - HCA client, Richard Max, has just signed to appear in the music video for Avril Lavigne's next single, "Nobody's Home." The video will be directed by Diane Martel who has directed videos for Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.

JUNE 1 - The U.K.'s hottest fashion tee's for the summer, Top Totty Clothing, are coming to America and they've signed with HCA for a web site to show their naughty and shagadelic designs. DONNIE DARKO DIRECTOR'S CUT is looking at a July 2003 limited release.

DONNIE DARKO RE-RELEASE
APRIL 24 - HCA client, Jake Gyllenhaal, starred in the 2001 acclaimed indie film, DONNIE DARKO (Newmarket Films). Thanks to incredible fan demand and word-of-mouth generated on the Internet the film became a huge hit on video in North America and a box office hit in the UK. Newmarket will be re-releasing the film with added footage and enhanced FX with a premiere at this year's Seattle Film Festival and an anticipated summer release. HCA will be working with Newmarket to promote the second coming of DARKO!

SLAUGHTER RULE SITE LIVE
MARCH 1 - Indie film site for THE SLAUGHTER RULE has been relaunched, already generating 5000 hits a week. The site, which features lots of downloads, is appealing to the secondary video market as well as foreign markets which haven't seen the film yet. Visit www.theslaughterrule.com.

RANCHWATER PRODUCTIONS SIGNS WITH HCA
JAN 26 - Alex and Andrew Smith, the award-winning writers/directors of THE SLAUGHTER RULE, have signed with HCA for Internet marketing. First up is a major relaunch of THE SLAUGHTER RULE web site to promote the film to a wider audience and to foreign distributors. A major hit on the film festival circuit, THE SLAUGHTER RULE has taken on a life of its own, growing a cult audience thanks to overwhelmingly strong reviews, a hit alt.country soundtrack by Jay Farrar, and the considerable appeal of its cast, including Ryan Gosling, David Morse, Kelly Lynch, Clea Duvall and Eddie Spears. The new site will feature numerous downloads and be an indie film resource for aspiring filmmakers. Watch for a site relaunch date this month!

DEC 12 - Jake Gyllenhaal and Zooey Deschanel will emcee the awards show live from Park City which will air live from Park City, UT, on the Sundance Channel on Saturday, January 24, 2004, at 9:00 p.m.

HCA/AFI presents IN AMERICA
Dec 10 - HCA and AFI are pleased to present a special screening of IN AMERICA at the Skirball Cultural Center on Monday, Dec 15th at 7:30pm. Please visit the AFI site for ticketing information. Director/writer Jim Sheridan will be attending and doing a Q+A after the film. IN AMERICA has just won a number of Independent Spirit Award nominations, including: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Female Lead, Best Supporting Female, Best Cinematography and Best Supporting Male.
